About Michelle, the Founder of CANVASS
Michelle started her foray into arts by developing, managing and facilitating art classes in schools for children and teachers alike. She specializes in developing age-appropriate programs, drawing and painting foundation courses/ workshops and tailored programs for people with special needs. She has also developed team- building programs for corporate companies using art as a platform.

Michelle has always been interested in the studies of art theory, culture and history. She truly believes that everyone, of any age can experience the power of creativity and innovative ideas through art and play. With accreditations in Fine arts, Photography and Art therapy, Michelle's passionate commitment to the local arts scene has seen her illustrating for children educational books and working with children and adults with special needs.

She has also participated in the Singapore Biennale 2007, where she led a successful arts workshop-training program and sales auction for Credit Suisse. Passionate about delivering an environment infused with art, culture and fresh creativity to inspire and enrich children, Michelle created Canvass in October 2005. As the owner and program director, she is in charge of spearheading novel methods for CANVASS constantly evolving and specialized curriculum.

Her personal artistry portfolio includes collaborated art shows and participation in solo and group exhibitions of her paintings, collage installations and photographs in Singapore.
