Holistic Camp theme: “To be Mindfully Sustainable”
What is Sustainable Yoga?
The ancient teachings of yoga advocate living as one with all living things, including non-harm, moderation and non-attachment. When translated into modern day living, the amount we consume, the way we consumer and our attachment to material comforts have become our norm. Developing a sustainable attitude to our invaluable impact on our planet and all home to earth, is a courageous and important step in transforming unconscious habits and patterns that no longer serve the wholeness of life.
In this holistic camp we will bring together the important and courageous work that is required to live mindfully with a sustainable attitude, not only to oneself, but to all life around us including the place we call home, Earth.
The ancient teachings of yoga advocate living as one with all living things, including treating all beings with kindness, exploring moderation and feeling free from creature comforts.
This camp will be filled with love and appreciation for our life, the natural joys that exist within us and our expressive nature cultivated through art, movement and connection!
