We live in a world where information and stimuli are everywhere, it is easy to lose focus and become one with chaos. We engage in all kinds of practices, therapies and exercises to give us respite, without actually finding steadiness, true contentment and peace within.

Īśvara Pranidhana translates to ‘true self’ or ‘ultimate reality’ or through the power of surrender. If Īśvara is the inner compass, then Pranidhana is devoting our focus inwards, remembering to stay connected to the inner compass; the essence of wisdom and light, not just occasionally but throughout the day. 

 Īśvara Prandidhana Retreat shares the art of Asana, Pranayama and Meditation to create a journey to explore and awaken integrity, energy and awareness through classical yoga knowledge and meditation to devote our attention and experiences from less doing, to more being. Listening, aligning and connecting inwards to your authentic self – giving the body an opportunity to speak with you, finding a sense of belonging in the heart that aligns with the psyche.

You will be guided by Jolie Michelle Ow in this 4 days and 3 nights retreat, through daily Asana (Yoga practice), Pranayama (Breathwork) and Meditation (Sound Healing, Chakra Meditation and Yoga Nidra) with the intention of always coming back to the body and listening deeply to what is in that moment, finding your connection with the universe, which may bring guiding truths that will lead you to the life you envision.

Through the A.L.I.G.N (Attune|Love|Imagine|Guide|Nurture) approach, you learn how to become a master of your own lifelong learning, to feel more vitality and appreciation in your physical body, and trust in the belonging of your heart wisdom, by simply exploring a quieter and steady pace of practice with a logical approach that suits your body type and stage in life. This deepens stability within your personal practice and daily living, with more steadiness, and quietness as you can feel more in control to act and respond wisely in this fast-paced digital society. This is a personalized retreat with simple and valuable fundamental skills and methods with guided alignment-based, postural adjustments for intermediate and advanced practitioners.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

  • 1pm-330pm: Check in and explore the villa with the concierge 
  • 4pm-5pm: Orientation, Pranayama, Mudra, Sound Healing and Yoga Nidra
  • 5pm-630pm: Yin Yoga for healthy joints, vagus nerve stimulation and energy healing
  • 630pm onwards: Enjoy a celebratory Balinese dinner together with Balinese dance and sound healing session 

DAY 2

  • 730am-830am: Pranayama, Mantra and Meditation (Optional)
  • 830am-10am: Enjoy your complimentary breakfast at your villa or around the compound, explore the quiet surroundings, read a book, take a walk or swim
  • 10am-12pm: Yang Yoga for encompassing your core energy and spinal strength
  • 12pm-1215pm: Breaking silence gently with journaling themes to guide you through the day  121

  • 630pm onwards: Enjoy your own dinner time and rest

DAY 4

  • 630am-715am: Sunrise Beach Meditation (Optional)
  • 730am-930am: Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga
  • 930am-1130am: Breakfast together
  • 2pm: End of Retreat

  • Go within and explore stillness with daily guided silent meditation and yoga mornings. Everyday, we practice silence gently till noon to quietly take in your inner practice with your breakfast in the surrounding nature.

  • Enjoy daily yoga and movement classes in line with the yin and yang principles to align, engage, restore and release.

  • Share discussions in Classical Yoga Knowledge and observations on alignment and attunement cues and methods that suit different body types, stages and personalities.

  • Demonstrations with clear instructions are guided along the way, with your choice to receive hands-on alignment-based adjustments from Jolie.

  • Private consultations with Jolie for tailored physical attunement, healing arts, energy healing and meditation exercises to boost your body constitution.

  • Connect with nature – take a walk in the padi fields or by the sea, enjoy stunning Bali sunrise and sunsets.

  • Enjoy nourishing breakfast prepared for you in your villa, by the pool or in the commune spaces.

  • Explore the villa, chill, rest, read a book and journal, swim. The villa is situated in a spacious garden area with flat lawns, decks, a 14-metre swimming pool and infinite views of dazzling green rice fields. Villa KaRein comprises four buildings and an open-sided dining gazebo.

  • Enjoy your free and easy time after lunch, with options for a list of services – massages, private sound healing, cacao ceremony, dance and detox plans.

  • Enjoy specially curated Sound Healing Journeys and Balinese ceremonies and celebration meals.

Breakfast is provided. Choose to have lunch and dinner with the group or by yourself. Enjoy the abundance of fruits, nutritious snacks, coconut water, and beverages throughout the day. Food is consciously prepared with love, to nourish and repair. First evening of a celebratory Balinese meal is provided and breakfast on the last morning will be enjoyed together.

Where do I fly to?
The villa is about 40 min (19.1 km) drive from Denpasar-Ngurah Rai International Airport. All the guests are responsible for their own transportation from the airport to the house but if you need support let us know. Check google map pin here.

Do I need to have experience to join?
This program is accessible and tailored to meet you where you are on your journey. The most important thing is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to engage in the work. We look forward to having you join us!

Can I come with my partner or is it better to do this experience alone?
This is entirely up to you. Participating in the Retreat as a couple or friends are welcome. It offers self-exploration within your own personal space, as well as group learning opportunities that allows for shared growth and exploration.

For 4 days, 3 nights at the private Villa KaRein – located in Seseh. (Seseh still retains the customs and culture of old Bali. Cows are herded through the fields, rice is planted and harvested throughout the year, and the sound of ritual music is carried on by the breeze.)
